Located in the heart of the Cantal mountains, at an altitude of 1,220 metres, Lac des Estives welcomes fly-fishing enthusiasts from March to December.
This 3-hectare reservoir, 7 metres deep, is fed by first-category springs, ensuring pure and cool water.
You will find an abundant and regularly restocked population of Brown Trout, Rainbow Trout, and Brook Trout, typically weighing between 1 and 3 kg.
Nestled in a peaceful and unspoilt environment, this destination is ideal for anglers seeking nature and tranquility. The lake's shores, accessible along more than 90% of their length, are well-maintained and equipped with several piers to easily reach rising trout further out.
For an even more immersive experience, fishing is available from a boat (1 to 3 seats), subject to booking.
